Flying V

The Epiphone Flying V from the new Inspired by Gibson™ Collection recreates the ultra-rare 1958 classic with a pair of Epiphone ProBucker™ humbuckers™ for that vintage tone, string-thru tailpiece, Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, and the vintage ornament Epiphone logo on the headstock.

This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Original model also has a rolled neck for a comfortable feel, Graph Tech® NuBone™ nut, era-appropriate wiring, and CTS® pots. Optional hardshell or EpiLite Case is available.

The Epiphone EIFV-EB Flying V boasts a classic Flying V body shape, crafted from mahogany for a rich, resonant tone. The guitar is finished in a sleek Ebony gloss, enhancing its vintage appearance and durability. Its slimTaper C-profile neck ensures comfortable playability, while the 24.75-inch scale length and 12-inch fingerboard radius provide smooth action and ease of play.

Pickups and Electronics

Equipped with Epiphone ProBucker™ pickups, this model delivers authentic vintage tones. The ProBucker-2™ neck pickup and ProBucker-3™ bridge pickup are designed to offer a full range of sounds, from warm, mellow tones to sharp, bright highs. The guitar features 2 volume controls and 1 tone control with CTS® pots, allowing precise adjustments to your sound.

Hardware and Components

The EIFV-EB Flying V includes a Graph Tech® NuBone™ nut for enhanced tuning stability and sustain. The Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic bridge and Flying V String-Thru tailpiece work together to maintain tuning and provide excellent sustain. Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners with an 18:1 ratio offer fine-tuning precision. The guitar also features a 4-ply white pickguard and nickel pickup covers for a classic look.

Additional Details

The fingerboard, made from laurel, is adorned with 22 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays, adding to the guitar’s vintage charm. The guitar is available with optional cases: a sturdy hardshell case or a lightweight EpiLite™ case, both designed to protect your instrument during transport.
